All breakfasts and most meals are included at the Airbnb. Most classes and group gatherings take place on-site unless otherwise noted. Arrival & Welcome to Guatemala
Guatemala City → Cobán | Suggested flight KCI 8:10A-2:30P GUA

● Arrival at La Aurora International Airport (Guatemala City)
● Group transportation to Cobán around 3:30pm
● Light meal stop en route at Café San Martín around 5:30p

o Demo by Organico featuring fresh-made granola
● 9:45 AM | Depart for Orquigonia

● Lunchbox and snacks provided to go
● 9:00 AM–2:00 PM | Semuc Champey Adventure
o Viewpoint: Hike to panoramic lookout
o Limestone pools: Swim and explore turquoise natural pools
o Caves: Guided exploration of local caves
o Guest note: Bring walking shoes and water shoes, repellent, sunscreen, towel
● 4:00 PM | Arrival back at La Casa del Escritor
● Time to rest and refresh
● 5:30 PM | Dinner at the house (included)

Traditional Guatemalan Cooking & Market / Medicinal Plants
Included: Breakfast, morning excursion, hands-on cooking class with lunch, light dinner

● 10:30 AM | Morning Excursion Options
o Option 1: Visit the local market (Mercado) to source fresh ingredients
o Option 2: Guided medicinal plant tour, exploring Mayan culinary and healing traditions.
● Hands-on Cooking Class at La Casa del Escritor
o Prepare Kaq’ik, the iconic regional turkey stew
o Make pochitos alongside the main dish
● 1:30–2:00 PM | Lunch served from the cooking class creations (included)
● Afternoon: Free time to relax and prepare for departur
